i had iphone 3gs i jailbreak it before when im on V. 3.1.2 with blackra1n. but when i started to update to 3.1.3. my cidia gone
and i cannot jailbreak anymore.. pls help.
i had a mc model of 3gs MC model (MC143C)
and a version 3.1.3(7E18)

im still confused if i can jailbreak my 3gs or not..
bec it says (its for non mc mdodels only)

jb 3.1.3 with 3gs (mc-model) is currently not possible. The only way is: downgrade to 3.1.2 and jb this BUT this is ONLY possible with your shsh backed at cydia. http://www.saurik.com/id/12 for more info.

what do u mean shsh back to cydia?
can i go back to 3.1.2 and used blckrain? how to dongrade?

backup means: if you used cydia on 3.1.2 and saved your shsh hashes to cydia ("make your life easier") you saved them to the server. If you didn't: NO downgrade, NO jailbreak. (NO unlock anyway)

besides that, for 3GS the model doesn't even matter... u may have a XY model and it could be jailbreakable if u got the old bootloader which means your SERIAL NUMBER (NOT model) should have the forth-fifth digit bellow 40 (that means the week your device was produced)(bellow 40 is a maybe, bellow 30 is probably a sure thing of having old bootroom)

Since you already had it jailbroken, there's a easy way to tell... if your jailbreak was UNtethered then you have the old bootroom.

If your jailbreak was TETHERED and you didn't save your SHSH blobs onto Saurik's (which means you can't downgrade) then you are officialy AppleFucked. ^^ Must w8 until OS 3.2/4.0 is officialy released so people could make a new jailbreak.

For another easy way to tell if u can jailbreak it, use f0recast! If it says Tethered?: NO then you are good ^^

I have the same problem (same iPhone 3gs MC131T model) and I understand that I'm fucked, but I still hope that there is a solution. So, I understood that I can downgrade from 3.1.3 to 3.1.2. The problem is that I never had my phone jailbreaked, which means I never had Cydia installed. In this case, can I jailbreak my phone? Or it doesn't matter what firmware I have...

so my serial 4-5th digit is 03, im assuming that 0 is the low number and not considered a high 0, meaning after 9? am i right?

i think lets wait until blakrain officially released for 3.1.3 new mc model and all can be installed cydia..
but for now dont try to jailbreak it bec it will not work
